Redtails reborn
Although I enjoyed this rebuild of the mustang P51 I expected that there would be more about the missions that this plane was being rebuilt to showcase. History has seem to have forgotten the trials that African Americans endured while attempting to serve a country that considers them not equal. The survivors were very polite in their testimony of the treatment they received from the very United States Army and leaders of this country. The documentary was well done but to me it was more about honoring a plane than the men who sacrificed their lives and dignity for an ungrateful country.
A fascinating and truly moving story
I expected a historic documentary and was very surprised by the emotional element of this story. I enjoyed learning about the courage of the Tuskeegee airman, but what affected me even more was the continued effort of people all over the country to restore this one airplane. I highly recommend it.
Red Tail Reborn DVD
This was an excellent 2 disc DVD of a group of men and women who worked on and are still working on the Red Tail Project to honor and educate people about the WWII African American Heros called the Tuskegee Airmen. You will not be disappointed.Red Tail Reborn
